On arrival at Hotel Royal Palace, you’ll begin to feel your cares melt away. The focal point of our elegant and welcoming destination are the restorative local thermal waters, offered to our guests through a variety of treatments (including massage and hydrotherapy) at our on-site Royal Baths balneotherapy centre.

Dating back to 1883, the original building was built in the golden age of the Art Nouveau period. Our restoration project in 2017 ensured that unique original features were enhanced with first-rate modern facilities; the result is a hotel brimming with personality and offering a standard of hospitality that is both welcoming and professional.

Hotel activities are plentiful; the Turčianske Teplice Aquapark is directly connected with the property, while cycling and hiking are popular local pursuits. After an indulgent Royal Baths experience, our guests often gather on the summer terrace or dine at Restaurant Sissi, which specialises in traditional Slovakian fare. Local attractions include the Snowland Valča ski resort and Bojine Golf Club.

The renowned Hotel Royal Palace spa has an illustrious history, once visited by Emperor Sigismund of Luxembourg. Our circular-shaped swimming pool with golden mosaic has its own active piscina in which thermal water rises directly from the earth.
