Slea Head Beach and Coast

Slea Head Beach and coast, located on the Dingle peninsula in Ireland, is a breathtakingly beautiful location that appeals to both locals and tourists alike. The beach is situated on the Wild Atlantic Way and has numerous features that make it an attractive destination. Slea Head Beach is approximately 1 km long with soft, golden sand that visitors can enjoy to take a stroll or sit back and relax while listening to the sound of waves crashing against the shore.

One of the reasons why Slea Head Beach is such a sought-after location is because of its dramatic coastline. The rugged cliffs around the beach offer panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and provide plenty of opportunities for photography enthusiasts to capture stunning shots. You can also explore nearby rock pools which are teeming with marine life, including anemones, crabs, and starfish.

Kerry is one of the most spectacular places in Ireland and in Europe for Atlantic Views. Slea Head and its view out to the Blaskets is one of those car trips you simply should make at some time in your life if you can.

This is a scary but beautiful ride, it is a narrow one car road, on a cliff side same goes for Connors path, I got lucky and all the cars were traveling the same direction, which was going through Ventry and Dingle first! The Dingle Penninsula it has a lot to do a lot to see, you can easily spend a few days here and not see it all!

These massive dark grey cliffs are beautiful from a distance but you can also get up close. Walk down to get close to the surf or pay a Euro and go above where a Star Wars section was filled.

Magnificent drive at the edge of Europe. Plenty of viewing areas so you can pull in and take in the sights. Road can be narrow in places so care needs to be taken.
