Hiking Lai da Palpuogna

If alpine mountain lakes are where you find respite, than one must look no further than the spectacular Lai De Palpuogna lake located just a 30 minute walk away from Bergün or just a short train ride on the spectacular UNESCO World Heritage route.

Voted the most beautiful spot in Switzerland in 2007, the lake is truly a wonder of the world. Wow, wow, and wow! Beautiful place, heaven on earth. It gets crowded, as it’s a famous lake, so arrive early. The official car park can fill up quickly; however, there is a smaller car park located near the lake or the train station.

Beautiful lake, easy walk around it. Places for grill, wood and everything needed already there.

Went on a cloudy/chilly day and it was not that exciting. Also too late for the autumn/fall colors But a nice walk around the lake.

My boyfriend and I had a very nice and relaxing picnic by this beautiful lake last week. The mountain view is very beautiful and it was very calming and relaxing to see. We were so lucky that the weather cooperated perfectly.

A very beautiful mountain lake located directly on the road from the Albula Pass. With public transport you can hike up from Preda to the lake. Around the lake you hike over footbridges Greetings -> Swissaround
