Overlooking the quaint town of Windischgarsten is Villa Bergzauber, our family-owned historic hotel that feels a world away from the pressures of modern life. From wedding parties to couples and families to solo travellers, we’ve helped travel groups of every size to relax, celebrate, and reconnect in the Austrian alps. Ensuring that our guests always feel their best here is our top priority. Depending on what time of year you book, you can enjoy free use of our seasonal heated outdoor pool, sauna, and infrared cabin. When you’re not relaxing on-site, you’re also welcome to explore the incredible countryside that sweeps around us. Venture to alpine pastures, take a boat on the Gleinkersee and more… wherever your adventure takes you, a comfortable bed awaits back at Villa Bergzauber, which was completely renovated in 2016. Among our other facilities and perks, there’s free private parking available on-site and dogs are welcome upon request, with a small additional charge – because why should they miss out on all the fun? Whatever you need, feel free to ask. We’re here to make sure you have the holiday of a lifetime.
Accommodations:
We can host up to 86 guests: 13 individual non-smoking rooms and suites in the villa (main house), which are made up of five suites and eight superior rooms. Whichever room you pick, you can be sure to enjoy gorgeous natural light, our trademark views, a flat-screen TV and facilities that include all the essentials. Additional, you have the option to choose between our 10 earth houses which include a kitchen and can accommodate 2 or 4 guests.

Enjoy a delicious continental breakfast each morning when you stay with us, and to taste what we’ve hand-selected as the finest meals in Austria, stay for dinner, too! We can accommodate up to 40 people in our restaurant, though if you feel like looking a little further afield, nearby Windischgarsten is full of alpine eateries you’re sure to love.
The villa offers a small wellness area: sauna – infrared – cabin relaxation room
During May and September guests can use our heated outdoor saltwater pool with the stunning view of the surrounding mountains.
We’ve thrown some wonderful weddings at Villa Bergzauber! Many couples opt for an outdoor ceremony with us: with our panoramic views of the rolling valleys and sweeping mountain ranges that form Upper Austria, you couldn’t find a more romantic location in which to get married. Inside, our new banquet hall offers seating for up to 200 guests, so everyone can come along for the party. For your business needs, we also have meeting rooms on-site with modern equipment.
