Wallby Säteri is our corner of countryside calm—an old manor with deep roots and open doors, tucked among the hills and stone walls of Skirö in Småland. Just beyond the tree-lined avenue, you’ll find red-painted cottages, walking trails, a private lake, and a wood-fired sauna waiting for you.
Whether you’re visiting to recharge or reconnect, Wallby balances stillness with inspiration. We host everything from quiet getaways to lively gatherings, offering cosy accommodation, generous meals in our manor restaurant, and meeting spaces with plenty of daylight and room to think.
The land here has been settled since the 14th century, and while a lot has changed, the spirit of care remains. Wallby isn’t polished or formal—it’s personal. A place to breathe, reflect, or simply enjoy the view with no rush to be anywhere else.
We’re the Nyman family, and we’re proud to call this place home. When you’re ready, we’d love to share it with you.

At Wallby, we cook with what the land gives us. Our kitchen follows the rhythm of the seasons—crisp greens in spring, wild mushrooms and game in autumn—all rooted in Småland’s food traditions. There’s no fixed menu, just honest, generous dishes served to share. Recognised by the Gastronomic Academy of Småland & Öland, our living kitchen is shaped by nature, not trends. Come hungry. Leave content.
At Wallby, we believe good ideas need the right setting. Whether you’re planning a workshop, strategy session, or team retreat, we offer a peaceful, private space surrounded by nature. Together, we tailor the experience—from flexible room setups to thoughtful activities. Our kitchen serves seasonal three-course lunches, and freshly baked treats accompany every coffee break. You bring the focus—we’ll handle the rest. Conferences at Wallby aren’t just productive; they’re a breath of fresh Småland air.
At Wallby, sustainability isn’t a slogan—it’s how we live. We source much of our food from nearby farms, forests, and lakes, letting nature’s pantry guide our menus. We minimise waste, reuse creatively, and serve fresh water from our own well—no bottles needed. Our energy is 100% renewable, our cleaning products are eco-labelled, and our rooms are furnished with vintage pieces full of character. It’s thoughtful, local, and always a work in progress—just the way we like it.
