Completed in 1911, Högberga Gård was created by art patron Klas Fåhraeus as a place for Sweden’s cultural circle — somewhere to read, paint and spend time in thoughtful company.
That spirit still shapes the house today. Alongside conferences, weddings and weekends, we welcome guests for everything from celebrations to quieter, more restorative stays.
There are a few unexpected details. Our winery, opened in 2010, produces wine on site using grapes brought from Tuscany — an idea that feels both improbable and entirely at home here. A small brewery adds another layer, with locally brewed beers reflecting the same focus on craft.
What remains constant is the setting: open views across the water, a sense of space, and a building that has evolved over time without losing its original intention — to create a place people return to.

In the restaurant at Högberga Gård, we cook with the seasons, letting each ingredient speak for itself. Our approach is grounded in craft — thoughtful, precise and led by what is available at its best. We work closely with local producers and prioritise sustainable sourcing, aiming to keep our environmental impact as low as possible. For us, good food is simple: prepared with care, generosity and a clear respect for where it comes from.
At our Sea-SPA, we focus on water, temperature and the rhythm between them. The Pavilion looks out across the sea, with a sauna and jacuzzi positioned for the view, alongside an outdoor cold bath for contrast. Outside, the hot spring holds up to 16 guests at a time, its 38-degree water encouraging you to linger. Between dips, there’s space to pause, with a bar and relaxation areas that invite you to slow things down.
At Högberga Gård, we host gatherings with a strong sense of place. Weddings can unfold on the terrace overlooking the Stockholm inlet or across a series of elegant rooms, with space for both larger parties and more intimate moments. Seasonal food shapes each occasion. For meetings, eight conference rooms and a private Pavilion offer flexibility, with views of the sea throughout — a setting that encourages focus, conversation and time well spent together.
